You may have heard of a mini-lift referred to as a quick lift, S-lift, J-lift, lifestyle lift, etc. These are all cute names for essentially the same procedure. Basically, it is surgery aimed at just improving the jowls, and tightening up the neckline. It can be done with just local anesthesia, or minimal sedation. Small skin flaps are lifted, and sutures are used to suspend the sagging tissues, then excess skin removed and the incisions closed. Recovery is usually about 5- 7days.
