The makers of Botox stumbled upon a great find when they noted that the side effect of their glaucoma eye drop caused eyelashes to grow.  Available now as Latisse, this medication is both safe and effective. You just paint a drop along the lash line and night and in about 12 weeks, your lashes are thinker, darker and much longer! Patients seem concerned about the potential change in eye color as a side effect, but I have not seen darkening of the iris in any of my patients. Latisse is quite affordable---I have trouble keeping it in stock--it seems to fly off the shelves!
